Everyone has a right to a safe workplace and every worker has a role to play in practising and improving work health and safety.
It is important to incorporate safety into their induction/training/retraining to help them understand how to perform their work safely and to understand the rights and responsibilities of all concerned.
Workers should be encouraged to discuss safety topics with each other on a regular basis.
As a PCBU you should always listen to, consider and respect worker ideas, give positive feedback and recognise and praise those taking initiative to help encourage them to maintain safe practices.
